We would also like to thank all the partners that supported this concept from the beginning, which include the management team of the Department of State Development (through the WorkReady Initiative by the Government of South Australia), Regional Development Australia and Local Employers in seeing that this program would assist them with a career in the poultry industry.

This program exposed the participants in the work health and safety processes of a workplace, follow site quarantine procedures, maintain production growing environments, maintain health and welfare of poultry and assist with feeding in a production system. Skills to secure farm hands roles, and future farm managers one day.
