The Eight students that successfully completed had the opportunity to host an afternoon tea brimming with the fantastic treats that they had made.

The four week workshop portion of the Certificate II in Food Processing (Café/Barista focus) training program included hands on café quality product making, classroom exercises in food safety, communication and work health and safety, and barista coffee techniques, specialty baking equipment operation, cafe practices and team building.

The above range of skills has made the students job ready for a career in the food processing, baking and cafe industries. As well as developing a fine attention to detail when producing products, the students had the opportunity to hone their barista skills which they put to good use at their afternoon tea graduation. Both trainers agreed that the skills and knowledge displayed by the students on this course were exceptional.
