IIFP enterprise participation provides additional incentives or cost saavings for employers with agreements with IIFP. Customised arrangements are structured for all qualifications offerd in any enterprise in any location

(If IIFP does not currently offer a qualification then please discuss your requirements for these to be added for your access.)

In recognition of the training and staff development efforts undertaken by dynamic employers, and also to provide additional flexibility, IIFP will offer concessions or planning assistance through the following training participation options from Level III to ApprenticeS, trainees or students. Varying incentives apply to other areas depending on the Certificate and Training funds provided by Government bodes. These options will accommodate all levels of enterprise involvement and assist in their workforce development programs. These savings are in addition to any incentives provided through other areas and require a formal partnership agreement with IIFP as required National Vet Regulations (NVR) by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQTF)

Option 1 – IIFP provides full training and assessment services

Option 2 – You provide workplace mentoring according to set requirements

Option 3 – You provide the Formal training delivery component as a qualified trainer & the NVR or AQTF

Option 4 – You provide the Formal training delivery & assessment as a Cert IV Trainer & Assessor & the NVR or AQTF

Option 5 – Are you in a regional / outer rural area and are looking for other opportunities?

Option 1 – IIFP does everything

Employers can allow IIFP to provide a full traditional, on-site (with optional off-site), flexible Training and Assessment service.
You will need to;

  • provide access to the workplace for Training and Assessment services
  • Provide whatever time is needed to assist in the development of skills and knowledge needed by each apprentice
  • Provide advice and testimonials about student performance and standards
  • Provide time for the apprentice to attend off-site activities where deemed necessary. (See Optional practical sessions in 2012 – Table)

IIFP will provide the student RPL, Learners Guides and assessment materials, theory development, on-site skills guidance/ demonstration/ activity where required, offer off-site development opportunities (See following table), maintain all records, provide verification of standards and issue a Statement of Attainment or Certificate.

Option 2 – You provide workplace mentoring according to set requirements

Employers can attract up-to a $350.00 incl GST, from IIFP, participation payment upon conclusion of the training program and successful achievement for each contracted, full level III certificate apprentice.
You will need:

  • to undertake a formal VET in Enterprise Agreement (VITA) Mentoring agreement with IIFP,
  • provide normal workplace activities in line with prescribed session outcomes,
  • work within the National Vet reggulations (NVR) or AQTF (Australian Qualification Training Framework) where these rules
  • work with the IIFP Assessor/ consultant who oversees the standards,

IIFP will provide the student RPL, Learners guides and assessment materials, theory development, on-site skills guidance/demonstration where required, offer off-site development opportunities (see following table), maintain all records, provide verification of standards and issue a Statement of Attainment or Certificate.

Option 3 – You provide the Formal training delivery component as a qualified trainer & the NVR or AQTF

Employers (or nominated key staff) can attract up-to a $800.00 incl GST, from IIFP, participation payment upon conclusion of the training program and successful achievement for each contracted apprentice.
You will need:

  • the current workplace trainer qualification units (TAE40110)
  • a formal VITA alliance Partnership agreement with IIFP
  • apprentices enrolled with IIFP.

The participating enterprise needs to;

  • provide the formal skills training, (Theory can be supported by selected
    IIFP technical seminars offered from time to time)
    If the enterprise also provides the prescribed theory and reports this under
    the IIFP evaluation system this will attract a further $250.00 incl GS. per student.
    The workplace trainer will need formal industry competency in each affected unit.
  • complete the required IIFP records,
  • work within the NVR (National Vet Regulations
  • work with the IIFP Assessor/ consultant who oversees the standards, undertake assessment by collecting evidence and decides on the granting of competency.

IIFP will provide the student RPL, Learners guides and assessment materials, theory development, on-site skills guidance where required, offer off-site development opportunities (see following table), Collect training records, Undertake assessments, provide verification of standards and issue a Statement of Attainment or Certificate.

Option 4 – You provide the Formal training delivery & assessment as a
Cert IV Trainer & Assessor & the nvr

Employers (or nominated key staff) can attract up-to $650.00 incl GST, from IIFP, for each apprentice if they have the current Full Training & Assessment qualification (Cert IV-TAE40110).
You will need:

  • a formal vita alliance Partnership agreement with IIFP,
  • apprentices enrolled with IIFP.

The participating enterprise needs to:

  • provide the prescribed formal skills training (Theory can be supported by selected IIFP technical seminars offered from time to time),
    If the enterprise also provides the prescribed theory and reports this under
    the IIFP evaluation system this will attract a further $250.00 incl GST per student.
    The workplace trainer will need formal industry competency in each affected unit.
  • complete the required IIFP training records,
  • Undertake IIFP prescribed Competency Assessment,
  • provide the completed IIFP assessment records and evidence,
  • work within the NVR OR AQTF (Australian Qualification Training Framework)
  • work with the IIFP Assessor/ consultant who oversees the evidence provided and
    verifies the process prior to granting of each unit of competency/Qualification.

IIFP will provide the student RPL, Learners guides and assessment materials, theory development, on-site skills guidance where required, offer off-site development opportunities (see following table), Collect training records, Collect assessments records, provide verification of standards and issue a Statement of Attainment or Certificate.

Option 5 – (Additional) Are you in a regional / outer rural area and are looking for further opportunities?

We are looking for progressive, safe and dynamic businesses to work with us in a variety of ways. A memorandum of understanding may be undertaken if you have appropriate facilities to accommodate local area, year 10/11/12 students, through School based apprenticeships or standard apprenticeships. These students may be contracted to group training employers or directly by you or with other employers.
